Contracts

Working directly to the developer JJ Gallagher, Malcolm Construction Services provided full remediation earthwork reprofiling and infrastructure services for the first phase of a 2500 unit housing and commercial site.

Covering 75 hectares this extensive former British Leyland car plant called on our comprehensive range of expertise. This included removal of contaminated material, extensive earthworks, balancing reservoirs, mine working consolidation, crushing and grading of existing concrete slabs, roads and sewers for the new development, retraining of an existing bog burn and construction of 2km of new cycle routes.

Working for HBG we are currently involved in the construction of the above contract, part of which includes the construction of a new petrol filling station outwith the site boundaries and existing junction upgrades.

As a subcontractor Malcolm Construction Services is involved in various public housing contracts for housing associations. Working mostly for the Campbell Construction Group and Kelvin Homes we are involved in all aspects of the project, from site preparation and foundations through to drainage, floor slabs, sewers and hard landscaping.

Malcolm Construction Services is playing a key part in private finance initiatives to rebuild and renovate schools in Scotland. Working to a rage of clients, we carry out civil engineering works in schools in the Glasgow and Edinburgh schemes.

In each project we reach the challenge of a fast turnaround and often are required to work alongside existing schools without impacting on school life.
