Quarrying & Aggregate Supply
Malcolm Construction's quarry at Loanhead, Beith is fully supported by our extensive tipper fleet, offering natural quarried stone. We also operate recycling depots in both Glasgow and Ayrshire allowing us to service the West of Scotland with a full range of recycled aggregates.
Loanhead Quarry produces a full range of bulk fill to single size materials such as 0/80mm Crusher Run, 40/80mm Single Size Whinstone and 0/6mm Crushed Fine Aggregate. Since our acquisition of the Quarry in October 2006 we have established a reputation for quality and service, achieved through significant investment in crushing and screening equipment together with the support of our extensive internal haulage fleet.
Our investment in plant and machinery has allowed us a great degree of flexibility while maintaining a healthy stock of a full range of aggregate materials. This flexibility allows our production team to produce non-specific types of material on request for both our internal and external markets.
