Key Responsibilities

  • Able to operate the following machines: 360 Excavator (tracked and wheeled); Dozer or 3CX
  • Carry out pre-start checks as well as operate and shut down machinery according to operating procedures
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs to prevent malfunctions
  • Carry out grading, foundation work and drainage operations to a high standard
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing PPE
  • Collaborate with team members to meet plant goals and improve processes
  • Travel to sites across the central belt will be required

Qualifications/Skills required

  • Blue CPCS Card/NPORS (with CSCS logo) accreditation and relevant operator’s licence (required)
  • Proven experience in machinery in waste or construction industry or similar role (essential)
  • Commitment to maintaining high safety standards
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Own transport is required
