Key Responsibilities 

• The routine maintenance and repairs on all vehicles both on site, at customer premises and attending roadside breakdowns when required
• Maintenance and running repairs to a fleet of 60+ Tractor Units
• Service, maintenance, MOT preparation and running repairs of a mixed fleet of Tractor Units and curtain side trailers
• Running repairs and defect rectification on a mixed fleet of Tractor Units
• Follow safety protocols

Qualifications/Skills required

• Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is preferred
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment, including an ohmmeter
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information
• A HGV (C+E) licence is desirable but not essential
