Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the Fleet and third-party vehicles are compliant to roadworthiness Regulations.
• Preparing vehicles for periodic inspections and MOT testing.
• Conduct thorough inspections of all types of vehicles and trailers to identify issues.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes and other mechanical systems.
• Demonstrates commitment to delivering high quality work that meets or exceeds expectations.
• Use diagnostic equipment to assess problems and determine appropriate solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical technology.

Qualifications/Skills required

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools and equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• HGV Class 2 (desirable).
