Hours of Work - Dayshift | 45 hrs basic Monday - Friday | 9 hrs minimum per day | Over time as and when required
Location - Operating across the central belt in Scotland

Key Responsibilities 

  • Drive safely and responsibly
  • Carry out pre-start checks
  • Driving an Artic HIAB with Fly Jib + trailer/low loader
  • Load and unload goods using the HIAB crane
  • Load and secure plant - tracked/wheeled and roller plant vehicles
  • Ensure pick up and drop off’s are completed on time and with care
  • Maintain a high standard of safety and compliance with company policies
  • Conduct regular checks on vehicles and report any issues
  • Travel to sites across the central belt will be required. Occasional nights out.

Qualifications/Skills required

  • HGV C+E (Class 1) License
  • HIAB/ Lorry Loader certificate CPCS (with CSCS) or ALLMI (with CSCS)
  • Slinger/ Signaller certificate CPSC (with CSCS) preferred
  • ADR License preferred
  • Loader/Securer (CPCS with CSC card)
  • Practical knowledge of moving plant, excavators, rollers, wheeled equipment etc
  • Digital Tachograph card & DQPC
  • A good understanding of the Tachograph rules
  • HIAB and loading & securing Plant machinery experience is essential

The successful candidate will be provided with a company van.
