Key Responsibilities
- A key focus on Health and Safety in the workplace
- Scanning of goods in/out bound
- Carrying out manual procedures
- Loading and off-loading of various goods
- Preparing trailers including, but not limited to, pulling open/closing side curtains & fastening/unfastening load-securing straps
- Load securing
- Paperwork verifications
- Stock control
- Manual lifting
- Communication with managers, supervisors and stock control team
- General warehouse duties & house keeping
- Unloading Trucks
- Using a clamp for Kraft Bales during production
Qualifications/Skills required
- Must possess a counterbalance FLT licence
- Experience working in a warehouse
- Competent and have good communication skills
- Understanding of FLT and logistics operations
- Understanding of unloading trailers and general handling of various goods
- Excellent planning, organisation and time keeping skills
- Clamp Training will be provided
