Key Responsibilities 

  • A key focus on Health and Safety in the workplace
  • Scanning of goods in/out bound
  • Carrying out manual procedures
  • Loading and off-loading of various goods
  • Preparing trailers including, but not limited to, pulling open/closing side curtains & fastening/unfastening load-securing straps
  • Load securing
  • Paperwork verifications
  • Stock control
  • Manual lifting
  • Communication with managers, supervisors and stock control team
  • General warehouse duties & house keeping
  • Unloading Trucks
  • Using a clamp for Kraft Bales during production

Qualifications/Skills required

  • Must possess a counterbalance FLT licence
  • Experience working in a warehouse
  • Competent and have good communication skills
  • Understanding of FLT and logistics operations
  • Understanding of unloading trailers and general handling of various goods
  • Excellent planning, organisation and time keeping skills
  • Clamp Training will be provided
