Hours of Work/ Shift Pattern - 45 hours (Monday-Friday)

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily pre-start and post-trip checks and maintenance
  • Operate and drive Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from various locations
  • Safe delivery and collection of skips from various locations
  • Work closely with management, clients/customers and other team members to ensure smooth operations within the team
  • Communicate effectively
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients/customers
  • Adhere to company policies, environmental regulations, and H&S standards

Qualifications/Skills required

  • Valid HGV or CAT C licence and Driver Qualification Card
  • Strong awareness of Driver Regulations specifically relating to Driver Hours & Working Time Regulations
  • Previous experience with skip operations preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • A flexible approach to working hours and willingness to work regular overtime to meet the needs of the business when required including alternate weekends
