Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy plant machinery to load/unload wood logs from road vehicles
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain smooth yard operations
- Carry out daily equipment checks and report any issues promptly
- Move wood logs in and out of storage safely and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications/Skills required
- Valid Forklift Licence
- Experience operating heavy machinery
- Working knowledge/appreciation of Health & Safety practices
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Flexible approach to working hours and tasks
- Clear and confident communication skills
