In September, WH Malcolm Ltd took delivery of their very first rigid dumper truck, a Terex® TR45. The Malcolm Group is a family owned business, established in 1925, and is a leading provider in Logistics, Construction and Maintenance Services throughout the UK.

Unlike most companies who take new purchases of plant equipment in the standard Terex colours, it was a colourful change for staff at the Terex® Motherwell facility when The Group's order came in, as the machine was branded in Malcolm Construction's unique and eye-catching livery.

The latest addition to the Malcolm fleet of Terex® machines was a result of the hard work of TDL Salesman Hamish Ross. The new machine will be based at Loanhead Quarry, Beith, where its primary role will be to move rock to the crusher and the overburden for stockpiling or loading into road tippers. With the modern technology and well laid out features, it has been a success with the operators, who openly express their pleasure in driving the truck.

Andrew Malcolm, Chief Executive of The Malcolm Group told Scoop "We have a long standing, working relationship with TDL and they are always responsive to our requirements. Our decision to invest in a Terex machine was made easy by our knowledge and confidence in the excellent product support service provided by them, which in our experience is second to none. The truck is good quality and we look forward to working with them again in the future."
